Unlocking DialKeys
Please select the user case that applies to you, so that you can get the correct instructions on how to activate DialKeys on your device:
You received DialKeys preinstalled on your device.
Usually in this scenario, DialKeys is unlocked by the manufacturer. If they haven’t, they should have provided you with a serial number. The manufacturer might also have provided you with a serial number, in the event that you wanted to reinstall DialKeys on your device without restoring the manufacturer’s specific software image.
You have a DialKeys certificate for your device.
If you already have the specific certificate for your device, install DialKeys and copy that certificate onto the device. After which you just need to double click on the certificate, and DialKeys will automatically be unlocked.
You have a DialKeys serial file.
Once you have purchased the DialKeys License/s you will receive one serial per license as an attachment via email. A DialKeys serial file is a file with the extension .DlkSerial.
If the device you want to unlock DialKeys from is connected to the internet, just continue reading the instructions. If it’s not, please follow the instructions for unlocking DialKeys with a serial number.
Download the serial file on the device installed with DialKeys that you wish to unlock. Double click on the serial file and the registration process will start.
Once the registration process is complete you will get the following message. Click on ‘Ok’ and you will have completed the unlocking process.

Now start DialKeys via the desktop link or the “Start Menu” and you will not have to worry about the expiration of the trial period.
You have a serial number.
The preferred unlocking method is via serial file as it's more convenient, but just in case your email system filters attachments in the email sent to you containing the serial files, the serial numbers can also found at the bottom of the email.
If the device you want to unlock DialKeys from is connected to the internet, just continue reading the instructions. If it’s not, please follow the instructions for unlocking DialKeys on a device not connected to the internet.
After installing DialKeys, connect your device to the internet. You then launch the ‘DialKeys Registration’ process through a shortcut located in the “DialKeys” folder found in ‘All Programs/Start Menu’. The ‘DialKeys Registration’ Window will then appear:

This particular status indicates that DialKeys is locked. Click on the button Use Serial, then enter your serial number and click OK. The online unlocking process will start now. DialKeys will retrieve a certificate for your device and you will be prompted to save it somewhere. Keep this file in a safe place, as it allows you to re-unlock DialKeys for your device, if needed in the future. At the end of this process, and if no errors have occurred, the status of the DialKeys Registration Window will indicate that DialKeys has been unlocked, as shown below

Now start DialKeys via the desktop link or the “Start Menu” and you will not have to worry about the expiration of the trial period.
Your device has no connectivity to the Internet.
After installing DialKeys, launch the ‘DialKeys Registration’ process through a shortcut located in the “DialKeys” folder found in ‘All Programs/Start Menu’. The ‘DialKeys Registration’ Window will then appear:

In this window there is a Device identifier.

Note the ‘Device Identifier’ (a left mouse click on the device identifier, then a right mouse click on the highlighted device identifier, and finally ‘Copy’ it. ‘Paste’ this information in a text document for future reference).
Using another device that has internet connectivity use the link provided:
Paste your ‘Device Identifier’ and your DialKeys Serial number, and then click OK. Save the certificate when prompted. Copy the certificate onto the device where the ‘Device Identifier’ comes from, and then double click on the file. DialKeys will now be unlocked.
Now start DialKeys via the desktop link or the “Start Menu” and you will not have to worry about the expiration of the trial period.
